*The SHORTEST BUT POWERFUL PRAYER** Assalamu Alykum Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu To All.. How to make your children pray on their own without arguments or reminders - Here's a narrative from a sister: My Daughter was 12 years old and prayer was like a heavy burden on her. So I told her to pray one day and I monitored her. She took the carpet and threw it on the ground.  [Surat An-Nûr 24:31]  {وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِن زِينَتِهِنَّ} النور: 31 Transliteration : wala yadribna biarjulihinna liyuAAlama ma yukhfeena min zeenatihinna Ibn Kathir in his interpretation of this verse: {And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment.} [Surat An-Nûr 24:31] has said that in the days of ignorance, if a woman was walking along the road, and that she was wearing a soundless anklet, she used to stamp the ground with her feet so that men would hear its sound; therefore, Allah has forbidden the believing women from doing such a thing.      I woke up for Tahajjud salaat this morning... This post is not about how pious I am. I am not. I'm just like other Muslims around the world, trying to fulfill my obligations to my Creator. Some days I succeed. Some days I don't. But I keep on trying. I spent yesterday glued to the news about the massacre in Aleppo. I went through many emotions throughout the day; I felt angry and upset. I felt helpless and frustrated. I broke down and cried. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I sobbed - whether it was due to what I saw on the news and on social media, or whether it was due to my own impotence I don't actually know. Maybe it was a mixture of emotions that needed letting out. I over-discussed the days events with friends and family. We played the blame game. It was the Arab leaders at fault... No it was Russia that's the problem ... it's the ruthless Syrian leadership...Iran was to blame! The day was spent over analyzing everything and it helped nothing.

 Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: 'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in-between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, namely, Munkar and Nakeer(being names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man from the dead man, so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man will say, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise'. Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation by Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief.' W

Suratul Muminoon, 23 verse 91 91. Ma ittakhatha Allahu min waladin wama kana maAAahu min ilahin ithan lathahaba kullu ilahin bima khalaqa walaAAala baAAduhum AAala baAAdin subhana Allahi AAamma yasifoona  "Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]."

Sheikh Abdulazeez at-Turayfi (شيخ عبدالعزيز الطريفي) : There will come a day when those who hear the prolonged suffering of their brothers and feel the pain without aiding them will be made to face something similar and no one will care, for prolonged suffering causes feelings to become lost and the enemies to become emboldened in continuing their aggression. من يسمع بآلام إخوانه الطويلة فيتألم بلا نصرة سيأتيه يوم يعاينها ولا يبالي، فإن طول الآلام يُفقد المشاعر ويُجرىء الأعداء على مسلسل الاعتداء The greatest disease of the Ummah today is that its enemy has dressed it with ‘humiliation’ but called it ‘tolerance’. One night Muhammad ibn al Munkadir was crying so violently that his family got extremely worried and called the great scholar Abu Hazim to calm him down. Abu Hazim RA asked him 'my brother what has made you cry so much, and you have made your family worry about you?' Muhammad RA replied 'I read an ayah in the book of Allah and it brought me to these tears' he was then asked what the ayah was. Muhammad responded, 'it is the statement in which Allah SWT says "And there will appear to them from Allah, that which they had not taken in to account.'' Fellow Jaycees, Even as I am running late to work this morning, I have the nudging to pen this humble piece. I actually woke up dreaming about JCI Nigeria and I would love to share. It's so upsetting that we dont know what's happening to our ummah. Because we are so busy in our lives, we eat, we sleep, we use phones, we chat, we laugh we do this and that's okay, cool. What's happening to this ummah, we don't give a damn.  Please inform people about what's happening & indeed it's a great reminder for all of us.  This will take the love for duniya out from your heart إن شاء الله.      A letter written by one of the sisters in #Aleppo right now to the scholars of the ummah and to the leaders of the opposition: "I am one of the woman in Aleppo who will soon be raped in just moments..there are no more weapons or men that can stand between us and the animals who are about to come called the 'country's

  Actions are judged by intentions It is narrated on the authority of Amirul Mu'minin, Abu Hafs 'Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated." [Bukhari and Muslim]   عَنْ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَبِي حَفْصٍ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ: " إنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى، فَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ إلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ فَهِجْرَتُهُ إلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَتْ هِجْرَتُهُ لِدُنْيَا يُصِيبُهَا أَوْ امْرَأَةٍ يَنْكِحُهَا فَهِجْرَتُهُ إلَى مَا هَاجَرَ إلَيْهِ".  رَوَاهُ

Surah At Tahrim,66 vs 6: يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَّا يَعْصُونَ ٱللَّهَ مَآ أَمَرَهُمْ  وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ  Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo qoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasu waalhijaratu AAalayha malaikatun ghilathun shidadun la yaAAsoona Allaha ma amarahum wayafAAaloona ma yumaroona  "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded."

            Etiquettes of Du' a By: Muhyus Sunnah Hahrat Moulana Abrarul Haq Saahib (RA) To be clean, in the state of wudhu and to face the Qiblah. To keep both hands in front of the chest. To keep a slight gap between the hands. To make du'a silently (as in thana) with sincerity and focus. To have the conviction in the heart that, Insha Allah , my du'a will certainly be accepted. To praise Allah Ta’ala and to recite Durood Shareef in the beginning and end of the duas. To pass the hands over the face after the du'a. 

Quote from the Holy Quran, At-Taghaabun (64:16) فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ Faittaqoo Allaha ma istataAAtum waismaAAoo waateeAAoo waanfiqoo khayran lianfusikum waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faolaika humu almuflihoona "So fear Allah as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allah]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful."

Fulfilling The Rights of Fellow muslims. I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The rights of a Muslim on the Muslims are five: to respond to the salaam, visiting the sick, to follow the funeral processions, to accept an invitation, and to reply to those who sneeze.  Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:   The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Night prayer is offered as two rak`at followed by two rak`at and so on, and if you want to finish it, pray only one rak`a which will be witr for all the previous rak`at." Al-Qasim said, "Since we attained the age of puberty we have seen some people offering a three-rak`at prayer as witr and all that is permissible. I hope there will be no harm in it."  "‏ صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى، فَإِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَنْصَرِفَ فَارْكَعْ رَكْعَةً تُوتِرُ لَكَ مَا صَلَّيْتَ ‏"

Surah 57,Al-Hadid vs 16:  "۞ أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَٰسِقُونَ  ﴿١٦ "Alam yani lillatheena amanoo an takhshaAAa quloobuhum lithikri Allahi wama nazala mina alhaqqi wala yakoonoo kaallatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablu fatala AAalayhimu alamadu faqasat quloobuhum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona"    "Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient."

*Celebrating Mawlid An-Nabi - is it Permissible?*   Mawlid An-Nabi, the Prophet’s birthday, may Allah have send His peace and blessings upon him.. Some clarification.. How do you go about celebrating, if this is not something to be celebrated? When the Prophet ( ﷺ) came to Madinah, he found the people of Madinah celebrating and playing in a state of joy on one particular day. He asked them, *"What is this day?"* They told him that this is a day that we used to celebrate long time ago, and we celebrate this annually. So the Prophet ( ﷺ) denied them from doing this and he told them, *"We have only two feasts in Islam, the feast of Al-Fitr, and the feast of Al- Adha."* Now going to Mawlid An Nabi, the Prophet’s ( ﷺ) birthday, if you want to analyze this to know if it’s a *Sunnah or an innovation*, first of all, people celebrate it on the 12th day of Rabi’ Al Awwal, however, the authentic opinion of scholars is that the Prophet ( ﷺ) was born on the 9th of the th

 CHOCOLATE ORANGE CUPCAKES  [Jumbite Confectionery] Recipes: 115g Self raising flour  115g Butter 115g Sugar 2 Eggs  2 Tbsp unsweetened Cocoa powder  2-3 Tbsp Milk 1 Tsp vanilla extract  1 Tbsp Ground Almond Grated rind and 1/2 juice of an orange Orange syrup: 2 Oranges, for zest and, 3 Tbsp Fresh orange juice 45g Caster sugar. 12 Cupcake paper cases Method: Preheat oven to 180c/350f/gas 4. Line muffin pans with paper case. Use an electric beater to beat butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until pale and creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla extract and ground almonds. Divide the batter evenly into two halves. Fold in half of the flour into one half,with the orange rind and juice to give a soft dropping consistency.   Fold in the remaining flour, cocoa powder into  the other half with enough milk to give a soft dropping consistency. Fill in the paper cases with the two mixtures 2/3 full and smooth

WHo ARE Real FRIENDS?  Oxford Dictionary defines Friend as:  1 A person with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically one exclusive of sexual or family relations:  (used as a polite form of address or in ironic reference) an acquaintance or a stranger one comes across:  ‘my friends, let me introduce myself’ ( one's friends)  archaic  One's close relatives. A person who supports a cause, organization, or country by giving financial or other help; A person who is not an enemy or opponent; an ally.   A familiar or helpful thing.   A contact on a social networking website. It is very important for every Muslim and humanity at large to make sure that his choice of friends and the company he keeps is correct. Over the years, It has been proven through experience that habits and behaviour of friends and associates slowly manifest in an individual. Without realizing, a person begins to adopt the style and behaviour of his friends. We are all witness to this
