The Muslim ummah continues to grow, despite those who leave and think they have found a better way. Asking Muslims to be inclusive of those who leave the faith is absurd, it is the biggest brotherhood in the world. What unites us as a community is our faith - so when a person decides to leave, then we won't welcome his disbelief and he will leave this brotherhood of over 1 billion people. There is no compulsion in the religion and especially here in the west, we have to accept that there are those who have had bad experiences with their families / masajid / imams etc and this leads them out of the faith. To keep a slight gap between the hands. To make du'a silently (as in thana) with sincerity and focus. To have the conviction in the heart that, Insha Allah , my du'a will certainly be accepted.
