Praying for enemies in Islam By Abu Amina Elias In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful It was the practice of the Prophet ﷺ to supplicate and pray to Allah to guide his enemies of Islam and to benefit them in the Hereafter. Islam teaches us to love for others what we love for ourselves. *The SHORTEST BUT POWERFUL PRAYER** Assalamu Alykum Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu To All.. Al-Abbas (R.A.), the uncle of the Prophet (ﷺ), came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: “Ya Rasulullah, teach me a du'a.” The Prophet ( ﷺ) said: “O my uncle, say: Allahumma inni as'aluka al-afiyah (O Allah, I ask you for afiyah).” Now what is Afiyah? Afiyah means - “to save me from any afflictions. To be healthy, you are in afiyah. To have enough money, you are in afiyah. To live, you are in afiyah. To have your children protected, you are in afiyah. And if you are forgiven and not punished, you are in afiyah." How to make your children pray on their own without arguments or reminders - Here's a narrative from a sister: My Daughter was 12 years old and prayer was like a heavy burden on her. So I told her to pray one day and I monitored her. She took the carpet and threw it on the ground. I asked her if she prayed - she said yes - Believe me, without feeling I slapped her face - I know I made a mistake. The situation has troubled me and I cried and I repent to God to forgive me.. The slap, the talk, the reminders did not make a difference to my child. One day a friend told me a story. She went to one of her friend for a visit. Her friend was not very religious, but when the Adhan prayer was called, her children rushed for prayers without reminders or quarrel.      I woke up for Tahajjud salaat this morning... This post is not about how pious I am. I am not. I'm just like other Muslims around the world, trying to fulfill my obligations to my Creator. Some days I succeed. Some days I don't. But I keep on trying. I spent yesterday glued to the news about the massacre in Aleppo. I went through many emotions throughout the day; I felt angry and upset. I felt helpless and frustrated. I broke down and cried. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I sobbed - whether it was due to what I saw on the news and on social media, or whether it was due to my own impotence I don't actually know. Maybe it was a mixture of emotions that needed letting out. I over-discussed the days events with friends and family. We played the blame game. It was the Arab leaders at fault... No it was Russia that's the problem ... it's the ruthless Syrian leadership...Iran was to blame! The day was spent over analyzing everything and it helped nothing. ...

ALHAMDULILLAH  evacuation  has been happening  all day. Please keep on making  dua.  Also make dua the shaitaans don't change their  minds. ALHAMDULILLAH, Today over 1500 civilians  have been evacuated  from east Allepo. This is a long process so we need to raise just cash. In sha ALLAH  some brothers are flying  out in a couple of  days. They will buy from Turkey and send to Syria  their and than. If we send from here it will take up to  6 weeks to get their. Roughly  80,000 people  will evacuated  in coming  days so they need food, medical and shelter. We are targeting  £80, 000 in 8 days. One pound per head in sha ALLAH which shouldn't be  difficult. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah PBUH said, "He who recites in the morning and in the evening the statement; 'Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with praising Him)' hundred times, will not be surpassed on the Day of Resurrection by anyone with better deeds than one who utters the same words or utters more words."     Today is another blessed day of the week,the day Muslims over the world always look forward to because of the blessings and barakah attached to it. The day of the week which our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized on the most which is Friday (Yaomul Juma'ah). There are many rulings from the Hadith on what to do to earn reward on this day and also numerous benefits attached to it.    "Whoever reads Syrah al Kahf on the day of Juma'ah will have a light shine upon him from one. Friday to the next."
