Praying for enemies in Islam By Abu Amina Elias In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful It was the practice of the Prophet ﷺ to supplicate and pray to Allah to guide his enemies of Islam and to benefit them in the Hereafter. *The SHORTEST BUT POWERFUL PRAYER** Assalamu Alykum Warahmathullahi Wabarakathuhu To All.. Al-Abbas (R.A.), the uncle of the Prophet (ﷺ), came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: “Ya Rasulullah, teach me a du'a.” The Prophet ( ﷺ) said: “O my uncle, say: Allahumma inni as'aluka al-afiyah (O Allah, I ask you for afiyah).” Now what is Afiyah? Afiyah means - “to save me from any afflictions. To be healthy, you are in afiyah. To have enough money, you are in afiyah. To live, you are in afiyah. To have your children protected, you are in afiyah. And if you are forgiven and not punished, you are in afiyah." How to make your children pray on their own without arguments or reminders - Here's a narrative from a sister: My Daughter was 12 years old and prayer was like a heavy burden on her. So I told her to pray one day and I monitored her. She took the carpet and threw it on the ground.      I woke up for Tahajjud salaat this morning... This post is not about how pious I am. I am not. I'm just like other Muslims around the world, trying to fulfill my obligations to my Creator. Some days I succeed. Some days I don't. But I keep on trying. I spent yesterday glued to the news about the massacre in Aleppo. I went through many emotions throughout the day; I felt angry and upset. I felt helpless and frustrated. I broke down and cried. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I sobbed - whether it was due to what I saw on the news and on social media, or whether it was due to my own impotence I don't actually know. Maybe it was a mixture of emotions that needed letting out. I over-discussed the days events with friends and family. We played the blame game. It was the Arab leaders at fault... No it was Russia that's the problem ... it's the ruthless Syrian leadership...Iran was to blame! The day was spent over analyzing everything and it helped nothing. ...

ALHAMDULILLAH  evacuation  has been happening  all day. Please keep on making  dua.  Also make dua the shaitaans don't change their  minds. ALHAMDULILLAH, Today over 1500 civilians  have been evacuated  from east Allepo. This is a long process so we need to raise just cash. In sha ALLAH  some brothers are flying  out in a couple of  days. They will buy from Turkey and send to Syria  their and than. If we send from here it will take up to  6 weeks to get their. Roughly  80,000 people  will evacuated  in coming  days so they need food, medical and shelter. We are targeting  £80, 000 in 8 days. One pound per head in sha ALLAH which shouldn't be  difficult. One night Muhammad ibn al Munkadir was crying so violently that his family got extremely worried and called the great scholar Abu Hazim to calm him down. Abu Hazim RA asked him 'my brother what has made you cry so much, and you have made your family worry about you?' Muhammad RA replied 'I read an ayah in the book of Allah and it brought me to these tears' he was then asked what the ayah was.
