HOW TO GET YOUR DU'As QUICKLY ANSWERED BY ALLAH

Ibn Qayyim said:
When a servant combines in his supplication;

1. with the presence of the heart and it being attentive and devoting itself solely to Allāh, sincerely asking Him for the desired matter.

2. Doing so at one of the six times when a supplication is most likely to be answered;
   - the last third of the night
- at the time of the adhan
- between the adhan and iqamah
- At the end of the prescribed/obligatory prayers.
- From the time the imam ascends to the pulpit till the time the prayer has finished on the day of Jummuah.
- The last hour after the Asr prayer (on Fridays).

3. Alongside this the servant has attached to this fear and reverence in the heart, besieging His Lord in a state of humility and submissiveness.

4. He faces the qiblah

5. He is in a state of purity

6. He raises his hands to Allāh

7. To begin praising Allāh and extolling Him

8. Then he sends Salaah upon Muhammed, His Slave and His Messenger ﷺ

9. He proceeds mentioning His need by seeking forgiveness from Allāh

10. He earnestly and sincerely makes his request as one who is needy and impoverished, supplicating to him out of hope and fear.

- He seeks the means of getting close to Him by mentioning His Names and Attributes and making the religion sincerely for Him Alone.

11. Before making supplication, he gives in charity.

12. If all this is done then this supplication will never be rejected, especially if the servant employs the supplications which the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ informed us would be accepted or if his supplication includes Allāh's greatest names.
